About Us
Started in 2002, we are conveniently located in Northern Illinois. As a family-owned business, we are a breeder of choice time and again based on our vast experience and the high quality of our dogs. Our dogs are highly recommended for service and therapy dogs. We have had many pupies go on to become therapy dogs for children with autism and down-syndrome. At AKA’s Doodles, we specialize in the Australian Labradoodles because they have been selectively bred for many generations to produce their nice temperament, beauty, allergy friendly coats & great health. Most our Australian Labradoodle bloodlines originate with Rutland Manor & Tegan Park in Australia. We have Australian multi gen lines which increases genetic diversity. All of our breeding dogs have gone through all the required health testing for breeding. If you are looking to bring a dog into your life, our Labradoodles, Bernedoodles and Goldendoodles make perfect, loving, family dogs and that are allergy friendly with low to non-shedding coats.

We have puppies who have completed our Started Puppy Program and are ready to make an excellent addition to your family!
Darla completed her started training program with flying colors! Darla is a sweet girl who loves playing with children and dogs, and she loves to play ball! She is crate-trained and age-appropriate potty-trained. She knows the commands to sit, and down and walks nicely on a leash. Darla is an absolute joy and will make an excellent addition to any family!

HEALTH GUARANTEE
When purchasing a dog from AKA’s, you will be given, and required to sign, a health guarantee. This protects you from any genetic defects that appear within the first 24 months of the dog’s life.
HUMANE BREEDING
We breed and raise all of our puppies in our home, with our children, making our puppies outgoing and well socialized.
BIO-SENSORY
We incorporate the Bio-Sensor or Super Dog Program into our socialization and temperament development regimen. The Bio Sensor program easily fit into our established puppy rearing process and supports our values.
THERAPY DOG INTERNATIONAL
Therapy Dogs International, Inc., founded in 1976, is a volunteer organization dedicated to regulating, testing and registration of therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers for the purpose of visiting nursing homes, hospitals, other institutions and wherever else therapy dogs are needed. The TDI certification test is very similar to the CGC, but adds more exercises involving medical equipment (such as wheelchairs or walkers) and other environmental stimuli that the dog may come across in their volunteer work.
